Reformer pilates is your mat pilates exercises, adapted and adjusted for the reformer pilates machine. It is designed to be more dynamic, more challenging and more strengthening for your body as the differently weighted springs add resistance to your exercises.
I love the reformer for my pilates exercises as I find it is harder to cheat! And our bodies love to avoid pain and cheat as much as possible, it is a default we have as humans. The machine gives us great feedback so the more we understand the exercises the more we can be aware of if we’re in the correct alignment or not, and I am there to help also.
I have noticed amazing results using the reformer, both in myself and in my clients. The weighted resistance and strength aspect of the exercises have toned and shaped my body in a way that no other form of movement has. Expect to feel completely different muscles working than what you have felt before, and a beautiful burn that you will grow to crave.
