I teach movement classes such as yoga and Pilates in a way that feels accessible and challenging so you can feel what is possible and also your limitations
I don't think movement has to look a certain way or have a particular label; I like to use the knowledge that I have in my toolbox to explore movement in your body. Whether its particular muscle activation we want to strengthen post injury or calmness and acceptance in our mind and body we want to feel. I am here to support you on your journey, and I hope you have as much fun as I have doing it
My passion is with all things movement.
Using movement to tune in to my body and understand my body on a deeper level has been profound for me. I come from a health and wellness focused family so listening to my body has been ingrained in me from a young age. I then went on to study contemporary dance full time for four years, fell in love with yoga which gave me the tools to accept myself and then found reformer pilates which gave me the strength and challenge that I never knew I needed.
I love all of these forms of movement practices and I want to share what I love and excites me with you.

Budokon is not your average yoga class. Think yoga meets martial arts with a sprinkle of animal-style movement. It's fluid, strong, weird in the best way, and actually really fun. The focus isn't on holding poses forever but on learning how to move. Cushla is fantastic. She makes it feel doable, even when you're trying to glide like a cobra or flow through something completely unfamiliar. She explains things super clearly and brings a really calming, grounded vibe to the whole experience. Each week I came out of class feeling more connected to my body and way more present, it was incredibly rewarding
I'd never done a yoga class before Cushla's, and now I'm hooked. She creates such a welcoming vibe and explains everything really clearly, which I found great since I'm new and don't know the pose names. She also gives options/variations to suit different abilities. I love how fun her classes are. There's room to play around and have a laugh. Budokon is exciting and challenging. You definitely don't get bored! And I love seeing my improvement each class.
I love finding muscles I didn't know I have, and extending my capabilities further than I thought possible while having fun!
